Immigration reform news today: Obama executive order will become law believes Rep. Joaquin Castro
One such diehard optimists is Rep. Joaquin Castro, D-Texas who is of the firm opinion that notwithstanding the district court judge’s temporary injunction, President Barack Obama’s deferred action programs created by his executive actions on immigration reform in November will soon become law. The Center for American Progress (CAP) hosted a press call about the fiscal benefits of Obama’s two deferred action programs – the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) and new Deferred Action for Parental Accountability (DAPA) programs. People said that as many as 5GB has been done loaded.
Immigration reform news today: Obama executive order will become law believes Rep. Joaquin Castro
It is going to be very encouraging for many people who are becoming hopeless about the immigration reform in the country. Given the fierce opposition of the Republican Party, many people who have been positive about its implementation in the country have started losing hope.
It is needless to say that the Republicans seem to be haunting the immigration reform as if this is the worst thing to have happened to the US.
Nonetheless despite some reversals, there are many people who believe that it is a temporary phase and that President Barack Obama’s executive order will eventually become the law of the land.
While talking about the executive order Castro said that part of the immigration executive lawsuit debate is the “reluctance” by Abbott and the other governors and attorney generals engaged in the lawsuit to be “honest” with themselves. He went on to add that the major issue with lawsuit’s plaintiffs is the fact that these people are actually not “accepting the history and the reality” of immigration.
The lawsuit has been taken to the court by 26 Republican ruled states including Texas, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, West Virginia and Wisconsin.
